IHA partners with NDIS providers supporting participants with complex and High Intensity clinical needs, providing participant-specific Registered Nurse clinical expertise around existing support arrangements.
Your team provides the support. IHA provides the clinical nursing layer.
For providers whose workers deliver, or are preparing to deliver, a participant's High Intensity Supports.
For providers requiring flexible, participant-specific RN clinical expertise for a single defined clinical need, episodic or as-required input, or ongoing clinical support.
Providers can also refer participants to IHA for Community Nursing & Disability-Related Health Supports or High Intensity Supports, where IHA will directly deliver the participant service.
IHA complements your existing service rather than replacing it. The provider remains responsible for its workforce, rostering, supervision, organisational policies, incident management and provider-level governance responsibilities. IHA remains responsible for the Registered Nurse clinical services it agrees to provide.
For an RN assessment, clinical plan review/development, High Intensity implementation, worker competency assessment or another defined participant-specific clinical requirement.
For providers supporting several participants with complex or High Intensity needs who require structured RN clinical input across the participant group.
Ongoing or as-required participant-specific RN support across named participants, including clinical review, consultation, reassessment and clinical oversight.

IHA determines the appropriate participant-specific RN service and engagement structure.
Relevant participant information, consent/authority and available clinical documentation are obtained.
The Registered Nurse reviews the participant's clinical requirements, risks, current plans, practitioner instructions, equipment and support environment.
Depending on the engagement, this may include direct nursing care, care planning, participant-specific worker clinical education, competency assessment, RN sign-off, delegation/supervision and/or ongoing clinical support.
IHA can remain involved where ongoing participant-specific clinical review, reassessment or oversight is required.
