Registered Nurses provide assessment, clinical monitoring and nursing interventions for NDIS participants with complex disability-related health needs in the community.
Examples may include complex bowel care, enteral feeding, tracheostomy care, complex wound management, medication administration and ongoing health monitoring.
When a participant's support arrangements require RN clinical input around High Intensity Supports.
A participant-specific clinical pathway that may include RN assessment, care planning, participant-specific worker training, competency assessment, delegation and supervision where clinically appropriate, and ongoing clinical review.
When an NDIS or disability provider needs access to Registered Nurse expertise.
